Studio Ready

We have our studio session booked and you are now wondering, what is next. Don’t worry, I’ve got you. I will share my experience with studio sessions and guide you on how to best prepare and what to expect.

My Approach

My approach to a studio sessions is to be expressive and create a fun environment. Being in a studio space is much more private, which means that we have more space to express ourselves, be silly and enjoy our time together. Once I have set up our lighting equipment, we will be able to play with different poses and ideas. You will be more than welcome to share any ideas you would like to see.

Don’t Be Shy

It’s easier said than done, but it is going to be very important to share that when it comes to a studio setting, you will be on the spotlight. It will be a literal spotlight. So for this reason, I encourage you to come with the mindset to be silly and allow your personality to shine.

What to Bring

It is important to bring what ever you think is necessary for our session. I will leave a list of potential things to consider.

  • A music playlist

  • Anything you might need for clothing or comfort

  • Snacks and/or water

  • Any clothing accessory

  • Hype person

Props

For our session, bringing props is not necessary, but you are more than welcome to bring anything you consider important to our session. Props will be important if you wish to make it a bit more personable.

Atmosphere

The environment we create will be very important to how well we connect in our session. For this reason, please bring anything that will liven up your mood or you will be comfortable with. This will be our space and our moment to be ourselves. If you need a hype person, they are more than welcome to come.
