Photo Ready Maternity

Getting ready for your photo session doesn't have to be hard at all. I've put together a quick guide on how to prepare to get the best from your maternity photo session.

The Basics

If you have children, please consider bringing their favorite toys to help get their attention. Snacks are always well recommended.

A BIG recommendation if you plan to bring heals, a comfortable pair of walking shoes can make a difference (you can thank me later).

Outfit Change: 

If your package offers a second outfit change and would like to take advantage of it, the following are some things to keep in mind.

Depending on the chosen location we might not have a chance to go back to our cars. So it is recommended to bring a bag to carry the extra change of clothing.

Having the clothes ironed and neatly folded will really make a difference. Warning: You may need to change in your car, depending on where we are shooting! Just be prepared for the adventure! I’ll stand guard!

Its Okay to Be Nervous

It’s more than okay to feel nervous. Please know that I do not expect you to be professional models. You do not need to practice poses, study Pinterest posts or let the nerves take over. I’ll make sure to help you look your best.

Location

Please allow enough time for travel or traffic. This is to ensures that we are ready with the best light at the best spots of our location. If the location chosen is in a public space, please prepare for people to admire our work. We do our best to work with in the location and its surroundings. If this might be an obstacle for you, please let me know and I can recommend a less populated location.

Props!

Feel free to bring along any props that are special to you. I want your session to scream YOU! Pets are great to have in the pictures, but please let me know ahead of time. If there is anything specific you would like in your session, I’ll do my best to make it happen! If you have a specific theme in mind, let me know and we can plan everything we will need.
