Photo Ready Family
Getting ready for your photo session doesn't have to be hard at all. I've put together a quick guide on how to prepare and get the best from your family session.
The Basics
A BIG recommendation if you plan to bring heals, is a pair of comfortable walking shoes (you can thank me later)
Children & Little Ones
If you have children or little ones, it is important to consider bringing water, snacks and toys. The toys are mostly to get their attention so they can look at the camera. It is recommended to bring 1 or 2 toys that make noises or are squeaky.
Outfit Change:
If your package offers a second outfit change and would like to take advantage of it, the following are some things to keep in mind.
Depending on the chosen location we might not have a chance to go back to our cars. So it is recommended to bring a bag to carry the extra change of clothing.
Having the clothes ironed and neatly folded will really make a difference. Warning: You may need to change in your car, depending on where we are shooting! Just be prepared for the adventure! I’ll stand guard!
It’s Okay to Be Nervous
It’s more than okay to feel nervous. Please know that I do not expect you to be professional models. You do not need to practice poses, study Pinterest post or let the nerves take over. I’ll be there to help you look your best.
Location
Please allow enough time for travel and traffic. This is to ensures that we are ready with the best light at the best spots of our location. If the location chosen is in a public space, please prepare for people to admire our work. We will work to the best of our ability at the location and its surroundings. If this might be an obstacle for you, please let me know and I can recommend a less populated location.
Props, Puppies, etc!
Feel free to bring along any props that are special to you. I want your session to scream YOU! Pets are great to have in the pictures, but please let me know ahead of time. Whatever you want in your photos, I’ll do my best to make it happen! If you have a specific theme in mind, let me know and we can plan everything we will need to bring it to life.
